Artist's Statement

Artist Statement:

Whether walking on a beach, exploring a forest or simply reading an article I often pause and take a secret journey to an imagined creation or process and store it in my mind for future exploration. My work often is the result of this curiosity, and incorporated ideas from science as it embraces art. I am fascinated by what research and technical processes can contribute, especially mining old sources of how things used to be done for use in my work. 

I combine an approach of highly complex in a balance. I may take months to create, or days and this feeds my creative energy. I hope the wearer of my work sees beauty, elegance and harmony of the elements I choose to make.
