ian's previous artworks shown at the gallery were photogravures. with the use of toxic chemicals, this historically important medium of photogravure is hard on an artist's health.
Ian's solution was to seek out a new medium that he could control the dark to light tones, yet be true to the details of his imagery.
the solution is pigment prints. ian prints the imagery himself in his studio. culling his photographic archives to present a few wonderful images of the sea.
