Jewelry Statement

Much of my inspiration comes directly from the natural world — its shapes, forms, colors, and patterns, often in wildly unexpected juxtapositions, fascinate me and inform my work. My journey as an artist has been the pursuit of capturing a bit of this ever-alluring variety in jewelry.

For this work I used image transfers on translucent clay, sometimes combined with silver leaf backing, resulting in pieces that allude to snakeskin, limpids, chiton, and shell, without emulating them outright. In this way, my work exists in the liminal space between representation and abstraction, always erring on the side of beauty.

These earrings are very lightweight, but not quite as fragile as they look. A bit of care is needed when storing.

Simply Gorgeous and Organic.
