Artist's Statement

This redwood tree root spoke to Lloyd one day during a walk through the woods and they never stopped. The beginning of his woodworking journey, this piece was polished and finished with an intention and attention for years and years. Everyone who sees this piece in person experiences the deep draw and magic, invite it into your life as a meditation on transformation and commitment.
