Amanda Richardson

Paintings

New this year, Amanda Richardson, a former island resident, celebrates the seasons

with a lively collection of small wallhangings; a fabulous collection of our local flora and fauna. These textiles no longer require stretching or framing as they are presented on a rod complete with a deckled edge. These images are marked as 2012.

Amanda Richardson shows her beautiful and exquisite textile wall-hangings. These textiles are compose of hand-dyed and painted silks, velvets, and other luscious fabrics that are transformed into striking landscapes, seascapes and garden scenes.

There is nothing comparable to the timeless quality of these unique textiles.

They are a joy to experience. Limited availability, and commissions are accepted.

The textiles shown are all worked on linen squares. The gallery will stretch the linen square on stretcher bars as you do a canvas. There is an additional charge for this service. Placing a frame around the stretched textile adds a finishing look to the work. Photos are available for viewing.
