David's words and his artworks represent his respect for the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of the natural world. He combines sculpting techniques with an encyclopedic knowledge of various metals gained from two decades of working in fine arts foundries and from creating his own sculptures. David's work ranges from the uncannily realistic to symbolic pieces that are loosely rendered and speak directly to the processes he uses.
